Quality Statement

I believe that following good quality practices during development has these benefits:

• improves communication between the developer and the stakeholder.
• reduces likelihood of anything being forgotten.
• improves chances of delivering what was required.
• helps to ensure all round satisfaction and peace of mind.

Therefore, all my work will follow these quality processes:

• A written description of the tasks will be shared with all stakeholders and will form the basis of the work.
• Regular progress will be reported, with intermediate versions of the work being shared.
• All software deliverables will include the following documentation:
  • Requirements and risks
  • Design
  • User and operational instructions
  • Tests
• All deliverables will be versioned and under version control.

The complexity of the work determines the number of documents. For simple tasks, the documentation may consist of a short, single document, while for larger tasks, there may be individual documents for each aspect listed.
